Artists in Schools
(est. 2006)
The Artists in Schools Program, a primary component of the Actors’ Lab, was created advanced high school drama classes, grade level 10-12. The Stage, a recognized community arts resource, supports the State of California’s Board of Education’s standardized in-school theatre curriculum.
The Program includes a Professional Theatre for Teens Workshop culminating in the presentation of student-interpreted production performed, for an invited audience, at The Stage’s professionally staffed and equipped venue.
The Artists in Schools Program, as designed, supports student creativity and strengthens academic successes while providing extraordinary hands-on instructional sessions for the future generation of actors, directors and writers.
